Also there was general agreement on accepting the lastest QCDml Proposal. See details of 1.4.1 at http://www.ccs.tsukuba.ac.jp/ILDG/QCDml/QCDmlEnsemble1.4.1-r4.xsd The associated talk by Tomoteru Yoshie is available at http://www.sapac.edu.au/cssm/ildg10/ILDG10-MDWG-yoshie.pdf (see page 18 for those involved in developping this version) There will also be a 15 min plenary ILDG talk at Lattice 2007 by the current ILDG chair, Derek Leinweber and real time demonstration by Derk Pleiter at the poster session. Next ILDG meeting Nov 30, 2007. ------ June 29: SciDAC 2007 Software Workshop June 29, 2007 ----- (Conducted by Andrew and James. Hands on BG/L participations.) see http://www.scidac.gov/Conference2007/tutorials/tutorials.html ------ July 30: ( Lattice 2007 --- Should we have a SciDAC software poster? Could use one being produced by Balint for SciDAC 2007 in Boston. Other posters? see http://www.physik.uni-regensburg.de/lat07/ (reg by June 1) ----- Aug 8: Software tutorial at the Lattice summer school. (Conducted by Balint) see http://www.int.washington.edu/PROGRAMS/07-2b.html ================ Agenda ================== 1.) USQCD participation in ILDG. Lattice available and projection of lattice into next year. (Send information to Derek Leinweber). USQCD seems to me to be a little behind the curve on this. (Balint, Carleton et al.) 2.) File format issues: (ILDG is asking about propagator formats too) 3.) Code Optimization for BG/P. (Good new/bad news: More time since machine probably won't be available to mide fall BUT may have to have code ready to run immediately there after in friendly user short friendly user periond.) a.) QMP port. b.) QLA and compiler benchmarks c.) Level 3 RHMC code for DW and Asqtad Future topics: When is a good time to have report on: * FNAL/Vanderderbilt cluster reliability project? * Visualization Project (Massimo)? * QMT -- Multi-thread desing issues? * Distribution of new algoriths and data analysis code in tool box? * Will the Workflow tools be ported to other facilities beyond FNAL? When and by whom? Cheers, Rich -- Richard C.
